The focus of the final day is on impact analysis. The course concludes with a glimps into the future. What will the real challenge be in 15 years from now? A healthcare innovator from Google will share his thoughts. Also, participants present their top learnings during the summerschool.

Dr. E. van der Poel
Dr. van der Poel holds a BA in Philosophy and a PhD in Elementary Particle Physics. After his PhD at CERN he trained to be a Medical Physicist and was a Big Data consultant at KPMG before taking on the function of Clinical Data Scientist at the Erasmus Medical Centre.

Impact assessment guidelines

Prof. dr. E.W. Steyerberg
Prof. Steyerberg is a methodological researcher primarily interested in prediction using advanced regression analysis and related techniques. Areas of interest include biostatistics, cost-effectiveness, decision analysis, comparative effectiveness and quality of care research, with applications in all major medical fields (cardiology, oncology, neurology, surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, etc.).

Dhr. R. Jankie
Jankie is Customer Engineer Google Cloud and focusses on AI Google solutions in healthcare. Google Cloud Solutions play a vital role in many AI-innovations.
