Prof. van Buchem is chairman of the Department of Radiology and actively involved in both the field of AI and VBHC. He is chairman of the Steering Committee of CAIRELab and responsible for LUMC2.0, a strategic programme focused on implementing VBHC at the LUMC.

Prof. dr. E.W. Steyerberg
Prof. Steyerberg is a methodological researcher primarily interested in prediction using advanced regression analysis and related techniques. Part of his research group is working on the development and implementation of AI solutions and comparisons between statistics and machine learning.

Dr. S.M. Arbous
Dr. Arbous has been with the LUMC for 15 years as a senior specialist in the intensive care department. She is the director of education for the multidisciplinary Master Technical Medicine at Leiden University. Her research entails the use of big data in ICU decision making.

Drs. Hendriks van de Weem is experienced in the field of change management, lean and behavioural change in the context of Value Based Healthcare.

Dr. A. Krom
André Krom, PhD works as a senior lecturer/researcher at the department of Health care ethics & health law at the Leiden University Medical Center. One of his focus areas is guidance ethics applied to artificial intelligence. André has ample experience with contributing to responsible innovation, having worked as e.g., senior policy advisor new technologies at the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) and as senior researcher and project leader at the department for Technology Assessment at Rathenau Instituut.
